Krys Oconnor was born with a
natural love and compassion for horses. She can render obedience
from the most obstinate and transition negative behaviors into positive
healthy behaviors. Her unique ability to relate with horses is an
innate quality forged in her genes. Beginning with her first riding
lesson at the age of six, her involvement with horses now spans
three decades and brings her to Fairview Farms JJC Ltd, her own
21.9-acre horse farm where she offers academic, management and therapeutic
instruction as well as full boarding and facility rentals. Her capacity
to perceive and interact positively with horses and people, enable
her to focus on their needs and provide them with goods and services
best suited toward building healthy relationships in a conducive
environment. Krystine is a graduate of Middlesex Community College
where she completed business management, business accounting, marketing
strategies, and business courses in Business Administration for
which she made the Dean's List numerous times. She rode at the Revere
Saugus Riding Academy where her training included dressage, vaulting,
cross-country, eventing, and sidesaddle. While attending the academy
she held a job as a barn hand where she acquired first hand knowledge
and experience in instruction, horse management, barn management,
horse driving, training, and foaling. Currently, she is the District
Commissioner of the Worcestershire Pony Club where she along with
board members, coordinate lessons, the annual horse show, rallies
and benefit events. She performs to the pony club's "Standards of
Proficiency", provides member training and handles the board meeting
agendas. Fairview Farms JJC Ltd is a facility that strives to offer
more to their patrons and residents as well as the community that
surrounds it. Programs are continually being added to accommodate
all disciplines. We have qualified licensed instructors with a wide
range of disciplines such as Western, Hunt Seat, Equitation, Dressage,
Jumpers and Eventing as well as Therapeutic riding.
